Before the Begotten Son of God came into the picture, man didn’t know the two important things he lost out to the devil in the Garden of Eden through deception– the Sonship and the Kingship.

In the story of Creation, God’s plan from the very beginning is to dwell in man because He is a Spirit (John 4:24). When He created Adam, He gave him a command:
‘’Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of ‘good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.’’
Genesis 2:16-17
The Word of God is Spirit. The moment His command was deposited into man, that is the beginning of his spiritual relationship with Him. The Father’s words created a spiritual life in him that connected him to his Creator. His words are seeds, and by implanting His righteous seed into man, that’s when the Father and Son relationship began. So, by default, Adam had the Sonship.
Apart from the Sonship, he had the Kingship, giving him the authority and dominion over all of the Father’s creation. When you are given dominion, you are the king of that dominion, and the entire earth was his kingdom to govern.
We’re no stranger to how man lost both of his Sonship and Kingship to the enemy. He gambled it away like a rich man who staked his wealth and prized possessions all at once. From being a king, he became a pauper, turning over his inheritance into the hands of the devil through deception. Man has now become a slave of the serpent seed or the spirit of disobedience to the Father’s Will. Thus, the need for the Begotten Son to manifest in the flesh to redeem what we have lost– the Sonship and the Kingship. He is the Word of God made flesh that dwelt among us ( John 1:1, John 1:14)
The Temptation Of The Begotten Son In The Wilderness
Journeying through the wilderness for forty days and nights of fasting, the Begotten Son was visited by the devil–not in the guise of a serpent, but he showed his real self. Satan knew what the Begotten Son’s mission was, so he tried to thwart it by cajoling Him to give in to his temptations.
Just like Adam in the Garden of Eden, Jesus Christ was also tried in the wilderness. Satan crafted his cunning devices in a bid to foil the Begotten Son’s crucial mission that has anything to do with the salvation of man.
In Matthew 4:1-11, the Begotten Son faced three temptations. Testing the limits of his human side, Satan beguiled him to turn the stones into bread to which He answered “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds in the mouth of God shall man live.”

The second temptation was to throw Himself from the highest point of the temple, even making an assurance that angels would catch Him as written in the Scriptures, and to which He replied, “Do not put the Lord your God to the test.”
The final nail in the devil’s coffin was when he offered the Begotten Son all the kingdoms of the world with all their glory and splendor in one condition–to bow down and worship him. Jesus replied “Worship the Lord your God and serve only Him!”
Truth be told, the devil wasn’t pertaining to the physical kingdom or structure that the physical eyes can see; he was referring to the people inhabiting in those cities. They were the human beings that were under his influence. The devil knew that as humanity prospered, they have all been infected with the serpent seed virus and unless this spiritual problem is solved, all of humanity will be under his dominion and there’s no way for man to get away from the curse.
But with the Begotten Son countering the devil’s blandishments with Scriptural references found in the Word of God, He triumphed in his bid to redeem the Sonship and the Kingship. He prevailed in retrieving the two important things that were deceitfully robbed from man right from the start.
By not succumbing to the devil’s temptations, the Sonship and the Kingship changed hands. It’s now in the hands of Jesus Christ. He succeeded in His mission of redemption. Redemption means to take back what we have lost. We had lost the Sonship and the Kingship through our first parents, Adam and Eve. But the Begotten Son stepped down from His Divinity out of His unconditional love for man. He dwelt in our midst to fulfill His mission. Although He triumphed in the seizing back of the Sonship and the Kingship, Jesus Christ had to go to the cross because that was the ultimate price He had to pay. He was the ultimate sacrifice in fulfillment of Hebrews 9:22, ‘’ Without the shedding of the blood, there is no remission of sins.’’
While on the cross, He said, ‘’It is finished.’’ That means the Sonship and the Kingship are now in His hands. What was finished was His mission of redemption. He has to give it back to the rightful heir but Adam doesn’t exist anymore, so it has to be given to his progeny–anyone from the fallen Adamic race. Anyone from religions and denominations would have been eligible to inherit the Sonship and the Kingship. But where they all failed, that’s where the Appointed Son, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy succeeded. Using his freedom of choice in complete obedience to the Father’s Will, he heard the Father’s voice telling him, “Now, you are My Son,” bringing Revelation 21:7 to reality — “He that overcometh shall inherit all things. I will be his God and he shall be my son.”
The Appointed Son: The Fulfillment Of Isaiah 53:10

While the forces of darkness rejoiced in seeing the Begotten Son dying on the cross of Calvary, they thought that the seed, which is the words of Jesus Christ, would die along with Him. But they were gravely mistaken. The seed has just begun to grow and will last to produce many of its kind. The words of the Almighty Father cannot perish. That’s why He said during His earthly ministry, ”Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.’’ (Matthew 24:35)
The life of Jesus Christ, which is His Word, continued to grow and propagate in fulfillment of John 12:24, ‘’Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.’’ In fact, when Jesus Christ was hanging on the cross, bruised, beaten, and crucified in shame and ignominy, He saw His seed. One seed from the fallen Adamic race that He would produce, and would become His mouthpiece and conduit on earth, entrusted with His Will.
“Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.”
Isaiah 53:10
That seed is the bearer of His Life and His Words. He is the one who will inherit everything that has been redeemed from the hands of Satan Lucifer, the devil- the Sonship and the Kingship. That seed is no other than the Appointed Son of God, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy. The spiritual component of salvation that was rejected by the Jewish Age and the Church Age has now been entrusted to the Son, fulfilling Matthew 21:43, ” The Kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”
In the Gentile setting today, the Begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, sits on the throne as the Almighty Father, for He has already produced an Appointed Son, who has completed the work of salvation in man, fulfilling Revelation 21:7.
From one seed, he has produced more sons and daughters in every nook and corner of the world, bearing the righteous seed and born again in the spirit of obedience to His Will. We couldn’t be more blessed for we have been living in the days of fulfillment, with the Appointed Son of God in our midst who is the Father’s finished product and the standard of salvation for all of humanity.
